Getting back to the basics
It’s hard to find form in the martial arts today. With every other style mixing with somrthing else, we are losing sight of the basics. It seems like we have turned away from form and function to copy and paste. Does anyone still practice a real reverse punch or front kick. Lets look at some of the old school players working the basics.
Martial Arts expert Micheal Jai White one lean clean mean machine with focus like radar, a fighters delight with his left or right. Rock steady like John Henry laying it down pounding you in the ground. He does his step step side to side, he makes you miss now your off stride. Don’t know the Detroit hustle to late cause his foot is in your face. Now when you turn around your upside down, and the sound gets louder. That pounding rhythm steady basic count one, two, three, four, your out. This brother makes basics look easy. “Old School”
